Back from the grave

Just the other day I was driving in Bend and heard a Gin Blossoms song. I thought, what ever happened to those dudes? Well they just put out a new one. From the review it sounds like it is a general mid to late 90s sound. I wonder how it will play. And who is next to return from the dead?

I would be happy if the Gin Blossoms stayed dead. But the New York Dolls are back - played a show recently and apparently doing a new album?

If you haven't rented, "New York Doll" about the band's bassist who ended up destitute and then became a Morman librarian, you should - it's excellent.

I must admit a certain pleasure in listening to the Gin Blossoms. Sigh.

The Dolls book sounds interesting, but I generally dislike the Dolls.

your love of the gin blossoms should play second fiddle only to the shame of loving jimmy buffet as much as you did.

Hold on now. "Love" of Gin Blossoms is going a bit far, don't you think? Now I was a fool for Jimmy Buffett and will happily accept the shame for that, but love of the Gin Blossoms, no no no.

I think this is equal in shame to your claim that At the Drive-In was the next Nirvana.
