Where buckets of ice cream are flowing

I tried one of the new Ben and Jerry's today, called Turtle Soup. It's vanilla ice cream with chocolate and caramel covered cashews and caramel swirl. If you like cashews you will probably dig this. I am intrigued by the new Black and Tan, which is stout flavored ice cream with chocolate ice cream. Could be really nasty or could be quite good. If it works it could be another Cool Britannia, if not it could be a Lemon Peppermint Carob Chip.

Stout is a type of alcohol, right? So I guess if it is the beer I think it is, it'll taste very horrible with ice cream unless there's a truckload of sweetener involved.

I dunno; most of those stouts (like Guinness) have chocolatey and coffee undertones, so this ice cream may be not be that bad.

Budweiser Butter Brickle, on the other hand, would be foul.

Yes, stouts are pretty creamy and would generally work I think. They don't taste much like beer but more like bread.

I may be wrong but I think some variant of Apple Crumble shows up at at the scoop shop. Indeed, the brown sugar aspect is key. The lemon peppermint carob is appartently the worst ever according to the site, and no doubt a hippie was canned.
